How To Get Rid Of Menstrual Pains

Most of the women feel pain in the belly and the pelvic area during their menstrual period.These pains are called Menstrual Cramps.Menstrual Cramps should not be confused with Premenstrual syndrome.Menstrual Pains can be mild to severe.Some Women feel light heaviness in belly and others can feel such a severe pain that they are not able to perform their daily activities.According to surveys and studies about 50% of women are some degree affected by menstrual pains.

The most common method which is widely used for treatment of menstrual pains is to lie down at the first sign of cramp.Some recommended methods to get rid of menstrual pains are using heat pad,relaxing exercises,yoga and in some cases orgasmic sexual activity helps.Some non prescription agents like aspirin and acetaminophen can also be used to treat uncontrollable pain.Herbal teas, such as chamomile, mint, raspberry, and blackberry,are also recommended to drink as they may help soothe tense muscles and anxious moods.
